For these unaware, is Darkish Tranquility vocalist Mikael Stanne alongside former In Flames members Jesper Strömblad, Peter Iwers, Daniel Svensson, and Niclas Engelin. In a 2022 interview with Metallic Injection, Stanne stated he sees The Halo Impact as a permanent venture and never only a one-off factor.
“I actually see this as being a permanent venture. We wrote far more songs for the album than what ended up [using], so we’re already midway by means of the following album when it comes to songwriting. So we have got that lined. I imply, it is nice.
“It has been troublesome, after all, to type of launch a brand new band, determining how issues obtained to look, what an album’s going to appear like, logos, photos, all that type of stuff. However that is been fascinating to type of begin from nothing, however after all utilizing all of our expertise and contacts. So as soon as we type of get this going we will preserve doing it, and all people’s tremendous busy, clearly, with all the things. So possibly it’ll be like each time we play it’ll be extra unique, I prefer to assume.
“But no, we’re going to keep doing it. We had a blast recording the album. We started rehearsing just before I went on this tour and it felt fantastic just to be in a room together and just going to play these songs. And so yeah, I think we have a good shot at continuing this. The reception so far has been fantastic. It’s a fun thing but yeah, of course during the pandemic it’s very easy to say yes to everything. And it’s not that I regret it, but I realize that I’m in over my head here because I’m never going to be home again [laughs]. But it’s all good.”
