Stevie Van Zandt, Sam Moore, Darlene Love and Steve Earle are the inaugural recipients of the American Music Honors, to be introduced by the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Middle for American Music. The occasion shall be held April 15 on the campus of its dwelling, Monmouth College in West Lengthy Department, N.J.
Van Zandt, Moore and Love have all been inducted into the Rock and Roll Corridor of Fame. Van Zandt was inducted as member of Springsteen’s E Road Band in 2014, Moore as a member of the traditional R&B duo Sam & Dave in 1992, and Love as a solo artist in 2011.
Moore, Love and Earle are Grammy winners. Award presenters embrace Springsteen, his spouse and bandmate Patti Scialfa, E Road Band member Garry Tallent, and Southside Johnny Lyon of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. The Bruce Springsteen Archives serves because the official repository for the music of Bruce Springsteen, plus pictures, periodicals, oral histories, uncommon recordings, movies, and artifacts associated to Springsteen and the E Road Band.
